Certainly the Reds have lost their winning touch after drawing six of their last 10 League games.
They still have a 13 point lead, but Blackburn have forced their way into the picture in second place with two games in hand which, in theory, could slash United's lead to seven.
But I find it impossible to carp and juggle with points after last night's sensational showpiece which contained everything that is good in English football.

Ironically, it might have been better if we had stuck on two goals, because that way we might have kept our discipline.
As it was, after scoring three so quickly, we relaxed and our edge went. Then, with Liverpool going kamikaze and first to everything, with the crowd at fever pitch, they came back.
I was raging, but Liverpool deserved their draw. I bet they can't believe their luck.
I have got to say that it was a once-in-a-lifetime game. I thought our Aston Villa match had everything, but this was incredible stuff - with excitement and pace."
